Missions is an expression of God’s nature because He is a sending God. A God who desires relationship with His people.
From creation, He actively reaches out to restore the lost. The Father sent the Son (John 3:16), the Son sent the Holy Spirit (John 14:26), and the Spirit empowers believers to continue the mission (Acts 1:8). God’s love, justice, and mercy are revealed through missions, as He calls all nations to salvation (Revelation 7:9). Therefore, evangelism and missions are not just activities of the Church but reflections of God’s character and His redemptive plan.
