I believe that missions is an expression of the very nature of God because God Himself is a missionary God, actively seeking to redeem and restore creation. From the Old Testament, where He calls Abraham to bless all nations (Genesis 12:1-3), to the New Testament, where Jesus commissions His followers to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20), God’s heart for mission is evident. The Missio Dei (Mission of God) reflects His love, justice, and desire for reconciliation, demonstrating that mission is not just an activity of the church but a core aspect of who God is.
