A spiritual leader should encourage bible study for his/her family for spiritual formation. Scriptures make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ. Spiritual leader should create a safe space for his/her family members to ask questions and seek advices. he/she should spend time with his/her family, showing love and affection by hugging them. he/she should create opportunities for hi/her family members to share their thoughts and experiences.

A spiritual leader should lead by example to help his/her family to grow. He/she can discuss his/her spiritual struggles and battles won. she can gather his/her family for bible study and prayer. He/she can can take part with his/her family volunteering at orphanages and community services.

Potential dangers for families that are led by spiritual leaders and vocational ministries are: Depression from pressure to maintain a good image in family members. A spiritual leader’s role can lead to financial stress if the church is struggling financially. If a spiritual leader’s actions toward his/her family is inconsistent, it can bring about confusion to the congregation members. When a spiritual leader take a good care of his/her family, He will also create a healthy relationships with his congregation and make them feel more comfortable.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I’ve observed that spiritual leaders role and responsibilities are not within his/her family only, but also the congregation. That whatever he/she is doing in life for his/her family, impact the congregation. I like the idea of leading by an example. That leaders should walk their talk. What a spiritual leader preach should be an evidence through their action towards his/her family and congregation. I also like the fact that no matter the challenges the spiritual leaders come across, they should create a loving environment that nurtures genuine faith within their families and congregation
