KeymasterWhat was it about? What was the “take-home” or application? Can you recall the Scripture references? Was there an interesting illustration or story? Why do you think you remember this sermon?

ParticipantThe sermon was about the calling of God to trust in His Grace and love. my take-home was that Jesus is constantly knocking at the door of my heart. He’s inviting me to open the door. To surrender more to Jesus, to hear His voice completely. This sermon was based on Revelation 3:20. There was a friend who was passionately knocking at the door of her neighbor and her neighbor was hibernating. she tried to ignore the knocking but she couldn’t bear it until she opens the door. The reason to remember this sermon is because on that day my relationship with Jesus grew much stronger as I abide more in Him.

ParticipantA memorable sermon was about Jesus the Resurrection and the Life. The application of the message was seeing a sacrificial love of Jesus for Lazarus. The faith of Lazarus’s sisters, Martha and Mary. The scripture reference is found in Gospel of (John 11:1-44). The story was an interesting when Jesus said, “Those who believe in me will live even though they die”, and all those who live and believe in me will never die (John 11: 25- 27). The reason I remember this sermon is to see Jesus’s heart was touched and deeply moved weeping and how he loved Lazarus. He took the stone away and called out in a loud voice “Lazarus, come out” “untie him and let him go. We serve a miracle working God.

ParticipantA memorable sermon was based on the scripture Revelation 1 vs 8. I am the Alpha and Omega – the beginning and the end says the Lord God. I am the one who is who always was and who is still to come the Almighty One.’ God is all we need in our life in all circumstances .He never sleep nor slumber. He s bigger than was and that is today and that will be to come, Before everything was created ,there was God and he has the power to bring everything to light. It is a blessing to have a relationship with him. If we are sick or diagnosed with a chronic condition, we believe what men say about our condition and forget what God says. If you believe that God is your healer, who says you wont be healed wont matter because you would have believed God. People have been told you will not live for the next two weeks. God rose them from sicknesses and they lived .He is bigger than everything. He has a final say regarding our lives. He is in control. He has power over everything.

ParticipantThe sermon I remember was about a certain man who had two sons. and the younger son said to his father, give me the part of my inheritance that falls unto me and the father gave him his portion. In my view the application here is that do not be impatient with your father’s blessing. The interesting illustration of the story was when the son was coming back home and the bible says the father saw him from a distance and he ran towards him and hugged him and kissed him.
I still remember this story because it’s illustration is unforgettable, in this story we can see the demonstration of the love of our heavenly father. -
