1. Introduction to LearnDash (My Ragla)
LearnDash is an advanced Learning Management System (LMS) designed to help you access and complete online courses efficiently. It provides a structured way to engage with content, track your progress, and achieve learning goals. This manual will guide you through the various features and functionalities to ensure a seamless learning experience.
2. Getting Started
Accessing the Platform
- Open your web browser and go to https://ragla.org/
Logging In
- Click the “Access My Ragla” button, located in the top right corner.
- Enter your username and password.
- If it’s your first time logging in, use the credentials sent to your email.
- Click “Submit” to access your account.
- If you forget your password, click “Forgot Password?” and follow the instructions to reset it.
Navigating the Dashboard
Once logged in:
- The Dashboard displays an overview of your enrolled courses, progress, grade reports and announcements.
3. Enrolling in Courses
Manual Enrollment
If your instructor enrolls you manually, you will see the course appear on your Dashboard automatically.
4. Navigating a Course
Course Overview
- Click on a course from your Dashboard.
- The Course Overview page will display the lessons and quizzes if you click “Expand” on a lesson.
Lessons, Topics, and Quizzes
- Lessons are the primary learning units.
- Topics are subsections within lessons.
- Quizzes assess your understanding of the material.
5. Taking Lessons
Starting a Lesson
- Select a lesson from the course outline to begin
- Use the navigation buttons to move between sections (if there are any).
Marking Lessons as Complete
- After finishing a lesson, click the “Mark Complete” button.
- This updates your progress and unlocks subsequent lessons if applicable.
Viewing Progress
- Progress bars show how much of the course you have completed.
- Access the progress tracker from the Dashboard or course overview.
6. Completing Quizzes
Types of Quizzes
- Essay Answer: Type or upload a document to submit, these type of quizzes are used for assignments.
- Short Answer: Type your response in a text box.
Answering Questions
- Read each question carefully.
- Select or type your answer.
- Click “Next” to proceed.
Viewing Quiz Results
- Results are displayed after the instructure or your work-supervisor mark your work.
7. Submitting Assignments
Uploading Files
- Navigate to the assignment / quiz in the course.
- Click “Upload Assignment.” / “Start Quiz”
- Select your file / type in your response and click “Submit”
Reviewing Feedback
- Feedback and grades for assignments are visible in the course section.
- Click on the assignment to view detailed comments.
8. Tracking Your Progress
Course Completion Percentage
- Progress indicators on the Dashboard and course overview show your completion rate.
9. Communication Tools
Forums
- Discussion forums are integrated in the course lessons.
- Forums often have a topic or a Question that you need to respond to.
Announcements
- Check the “Announcements” section on the course outline for updates from instructors.
Messaging Instructors
- Use the built-in messaging tool to contact your instructor.
- Ensure your messages are concise and relevant.
10. Technical Support
Common Issues
- Login Problems: Contact student support.
- Course Access Issues: Verify enrollment status and refresh your browser with CTRL + R on your keyboard.
- Page navigation Issues: Contact student support when you can’t go to the next page on a course.
- Quiz Prerequisites: Contact student support if you cannot move to the next quiz. This is caused by your instructor / work supervisor not grading your work.
