    1. Role of the Pastoral Counsellor in Working with Children
They should make a safe, respectful, and loving space for children to express their feelings. Create a place of familiarity and this can be through games, use of toys and creative arts. They should use simple language, be patient, and provide both emotional and spiritual support while also working with the child’s family and other helpers.

    2. Approach for Talking with Children at Risk
Playing or creative activities help create a comfortable space. This helps them express their feelings more easily and makes it less scary to talk about what they are going through.

Hi Obey, I agree that fostering spiritual growth through daily practices such as family devotions, prayer, and scripture study is important. These activities help fortify family bonds. Encouraging family participation in church activities and volunteer work further enriches this growth, offering the application of faith and service.

The risk of burnout and the pressure to maintain an impeccable image are some of the challenges faced by ministers. It is essential for spiritual leaders to strike a balance, ensuring that their family duties are not overshadowed by their ministerial responsibilities.

Neglecting family responsibilities can diminish minister’s credibility and negatively affect the congregation’s spiritual health. Prioritizing family well-being is not just beneficial for the household but also encouraging growth in the church community. Your post highlights the importance of balancing spiritual duties and family duties.
