Course Overview

It sets biblical foundations for Christian ministry leadership in a multi-generational community. We consider the calling, the biblical models of the five-fold ministry roles, ministry as shepherding and the servant-leadership-way demonstrated by Christ.  We realize how leaders must equip all generations for Christian service. We introduce the learner to the leader’s responsibility to remain healthy (spiritually, emotionally, socially and family-wise) and to live ethically. We look into the accountability systems that a great leader adopts. We tackle problem-solving from case-studies that showcase Jesus in action. We conclude the Module by exposing learners to contextual theology, to stimulate theories about leadership practice within the diverse cultures of South Africa.
